Badyeet is built as an offline-first personal finance application. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled within the Badyeet application and website in compliance with major application store guidelines.
1. Local & Offline Data Storage
Badyeet is designed with an on-device architecture:
- On-Device Data Storage: All financial transactions, account balances, budget records, category preferences, and text entries remain stored locally on your device.
- No Remote Cloud Servers: Badyeet does not host or operate remote cloud database servers to store or analyze your personal financial records.
- Local Text Parsing: Bady Assistant uses a local, deterministic text parser running on your device. Text commands are processed locally in device memory and are never uploaded to remote AI or cloud processing servers.
2. Information Handled Locally on Your Device
The app processes the following data locally on your device:
- Financial Ledger Data: Transaction amounts, categories, dates, account balances, debt records, and note descriptions.
- Text Input: Local text commands entered into Bady Assistant or quick transaction forms.
- Security Credentials: Biometric authentication requests handled via standard OS system APIs and local PIN settings.
3. Local Device-to-Device Synchronization
If you use Badyeet's device sync feature:
- Data is transmitted directly between your own devices over your local Wi-Fi or local area network (LAN).
- No data passes through external cloud relay servers during local sync sessions.
4. Local Data Security
Security features implemented to protect your financial data include:
- Encrypted Database: Local database storage uses AES-256 encryption.
- Screen Privacy & Lock: Optional biometric unlock, 4-digit PIN lock, and screen security controls to protect financial details from recent app switchers.
5. Third-Party Services & Analytics
Badyeet contains zero third-party advertising frameworks, tracking code, or behavioral analytics software.
6. User Data Control & Deletion
Because your financial data is stored locally on your physical device:
- Full Control: You can edit, export, or delete your financial records inside the app at any time.
- Complete Data Removal: Uninstalling the app or clearing application storage permanently removes all local data and settings from your device.
